At Gem, your online purchases are safe. We use SSL (secure socket layer) providing an encrypted channel and server authentication so that all information is transmitted through a secured server connection. Your credit card will not be processed until the day your order is shipped out.

Return Policy

If in the unlikely event you are unhappy with your online purchase at gemjewelryboutique.com, items in perfect, unworn condition may be returned within 7 days for a full refund, minus the original shipping fee. Please email us first for an RA# for more efficient processing.

Any custom or altered/sized jewelry is non-returnable and a final sale.

We recommend insuring your shipments, Gem is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Custom Orders

Out of stock jewelry may be available as a custom order.  Custom orders are considered final sales.

We use UPS live rate quotes when you process your order.

Delivery

Purchases are processed within 1-2 days of order received.  If the item is in stock, we ship accordingly.   If you need your product next day, please follow up your order with a call to the shop at 708.386.8400 as to ensure we are aware of the urgency.  If an item is out of stock, the delivery time may take anywhere from 2-8 weeks depending upon designer.

Wear and Tear

Jewelry is fragile and should be worn with care.  We do not recommend wearing your jewelry to bed or in the shower or during extreme physical activity.  Pearls and softer stones such as turquoise are delicate and should not come into contact with perfumes or hairspray.  If a piece breaks within 45 days of purchase and we feel it is the fault of the item, we will repair it at no charge.  After 45 days, we will attempt to repair any breakages for a fee.  Each piece needs to be handled on an individual basis and if we feel that it has been damaged through excessive force, a fee may be charged within the 45 day period.  Please contact us prior to sending us any breakages atcontact@gemjewelryboutique.com.
